Permanent Full Time Head Chef 2 positions
Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience, 3-5 years of Chinese kitchen management experience, being experienced in designing menu and cook food for special guests and functions, and being able to supervise more than 20 people. Relevant cook trade certificate is required. Personal Suitability: Initiative, Effective interpersonal skills, Reliability, Team player, Flexibility, Dependability, Organized. Job Duties: Analyze operating costs and other data, Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods, Requisition food and kitchen supplies, Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions, Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards, Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs, Supervise activities of other chef and cooks, Recruit and hire staff, need to cook food and design menu for special guests or functions. Salary : $22/hour Full Time Permanent (37.5 hrs/week)
